Over 60 scientists call on European Commission to promote less animal products

Over 60 scientists have called on the European Commission to shift its funding for promoting agri-food products away from animal products and towards plant-based foods. On 24 June, the scientists sent a letter to the EU executive urging the bloc’s agri-food promotion policy to be reformed more within the limits of a healthy environment.
