EU agriculture needs environmental improvements to become resilient – Agricultural Outlook conference

The European Commission has said EU agriculture is economically resilient but urgently needs to improve its environmental impact. On 9 December, the Commission organized its annual EU Agricultural Outlook conference and found that European farming showed economic resilience over the past year – despite serious challenges from COVID-19 disruptions, extreme weather events and rising input costs.
