RECORDS OF PARASITOIDS OF GREENHOUSE WHITEFLY TRIALEURODES VAPORARIORUM (WESTWOOD) (HEMIPTERA: ALEYRODIDAE) IN MID HILL REGION OF HIMACHAL PRADESH

摘要

Study on natural enemies of the greenhouse whitefly (GHW),> Trialeurodes vaporariorum (Westwood) was carried out in the mid hill region of Himachal Pradesh. Two species of Encarsia and one species of Eretmocerus were recorded infesting greenhouse whitefly on different ornamental and vegetable hosts. They were identified as aphelinid endoparasitoids {Encarsia sophia (Girault and Dadd), Encarsia inaron (Walker) and Eretmocerus deihiensis Mani). Amongst these E. sophia most frequently occurred.
