Tin/Chinese traders optimistic over tin price

Chinese tin traders are optimistic over the future trends of tin price and expect a reasonable level of 80,000 yuan per tonne on account of the strong demand, Antaike expert said. Currently, Chinese tin price had been over 75,000 yuan per tonne (9080 US dollars per tonne), higher than the price in world market. Moreover, Chinese traders are optimistic over the future trends and are reluctant to sell their products. As for international market, LME tin price is expected to break 7000 US dollars per tonne by the end of March and in early April. Meanwhile, the 8000 US dollars per tonne level is a forecast for the medium term, according to Antaike industrial expert.
