Oversupply in the Russian coke market will get stronger in the forecast period on the back of falling domestic consumption. The growth of exports will be restrained by competition and demand in the global market, shipments to Ukraine will be cut due to increased coke self-sufficiency in the country. Metal Expert forecasts an average price for coke in the home market will be around RUB 15,100/t in 2018 (EXW, without VAT). In 2019, following the global decrease in coking coal prices, coke prices may drop by 8?10% on average over the year.
