Gross refinery inputs in the US rise by 211K b/d in week to April 30

Data from the US EIA indicated refinery operations rose in all of the country's five regions. The nationwide average utilization rate was a 58-week high of 86.6%-a 1.1-percentage-point increase from the previous week and 9.1% higher than the average of the 52 weeks to April 30. A Reuters poll of eight analysts had shown an average forecast for a 0.5-percentage-point increase in refinery utilization over the week.
