Share of LNG Reaches 25% PGNiG’s LNG and Gas Imports in 2020

Polish state-owned company Polish Gas and Oil (PGNiG)’s LNG imports in 2020 exceeded 25% in its share ofgas and LNG imports. The country’s LNG imports have been increasing yearly since the Swioujscie terminal, the country’sfirst LNG import terminal, started operation in 2016. With new procurement sources added, the volume of pipeline gasfrom the eastern region including Russia is drastically declining.
