S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) March 30 at $421.50/mt CFR, unchanged on day. “When you see so many cargoes booked last week, it means the feeling among exporters is not as enthusiastic now - we don’t think prices are going to jump,” an EU recycler said, adding that some Baltic recyclers could even accept $420/mt CFR and below.
