Tokyo Steel raises flat steel prices for May by up to $120/mt

Singapore—Major Japanese electric arc furnace mill Tokyo Steel Manufacturing has raised listed prices for its steel coils and sheets by as much as Yen 13,000/mt ($120) from May, but has kept prices of other steel products unchanged, it said April 19. This is the second straight month that Tokyo Steel has raised prices of flat steel products, following increases in the seaborne market, the company said.
