BP CEO: Support Honest Greening Effort

BP CEO Bernard Looney says that if the world is going to transition to a net-zero energy system it needs to support fossil fuel producers that are making an honest effort to transform themselves and play a meaningful role in that transition. "It’s every bit as important, if not more important, to back and encourage and support companies who are transitioning as it is to back ’green’ companies,” Looney said in remarks at the Atlantic Council’s virtual Global Energy Forum.
