Iraq, Brazil, Russia Lead Dip in China’s Imports

A rare fall in China’s crude oil imports in the first half of this year was mainly driven by lower volumes from Iraq, Russia and Latin America. Chinese imports for the first half of the year tumbled by 321,000 barrels per day from the same period of last year, sinking to 10.56 million b/d, according to Chinese customs data (IOD Jul.13’21).
