US Crude Imports Surge in Spring

Imports of crude oil to the US hit their highest level in nine months in April, government data show, as refinery throughputs recover ahead of domestic production. According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA)'s Petroleum Supply Monthly, the world's largest economy imported over 5.8 million barrels per day of foreign crude in April.
