Top US E&Ps Seek Uniform ESG Disclosures

An industry group led by executives from top US E&Ps is attempting to establish a uniform mechanism for calculating environmental performance standards. The American Exploration & Production Council (AXPC) this month released a framework that focuses on five areas - greenhouse gas (GHG) and methane emissions; natural gas flaring; oil spills; water use; and safety - that represent areas of interest provided by financial stakeholders and other interested parties, according to the organization’s CEO, Anne Bradbury.
