Industrials to Drive Demand

Growth in US gas consumption through 2050 will be driven largely by industrial demand,the US Energy Information Administration(EIA)said last week,while demand growth from other sectors will be modest or flat. In its"reference case，"the EIA said economic expansion will lift industrial gas use by 3.6 trillion cubic feet,or 35%,by 2050 and account for more than 75% of the 4.6 Tcf of growth in all sectors during the 30-year period.
