Saudi Phosphates producer Ma'aden was in the market for another spot acid import cargo, according to sources, thought details were not confirmed. Ma'aden first purchased spot acid in November 2020, buying a cargo from Chinese sulphur burner Two Lions via trader. The tonnes were reportedly priced at a netback above $25/t FOB, with freights of $30-31/t suggesting a delivered price at least in the upper $50s/t CFR Ras al Khair.
