Turkey: Gemlik sells ammonia to its domestic market

Gemlik has chosen to sell its ammonia locally where it is achieving much higher prices. A price of $500/t FOB was the targeted price for export with about 23-25,000 t on offer for 24- 25 March loading. Enquiries this week from both Igsas and Petkim may have been sourced locally. Both enquiries were for around 6-8,000 t. The last recorded price in Yuzhnyy was $400/t FOB which could have landed at around $430/t CFR but sellers this week were probably targeting higher levels of up to $450/t CFR.
