Shipping resumes at India's Paradip port

Shipping operations at Paradip port in east India's Odisha state resumed on 28 May, after Cyclone Yaas suspended operations earlier in the week. "Railway operations will start from today evening," the Paradip Port Trust said in a statement, adding that there was no major damage to port infrastructure. Yaas, the second major cyclone to hit India last month, turned into a deep depression over south Jharkhand, India's meteorological department said.
