Indian Oil Corp. said in its latest annual report that it plans to invest 1 trillion rupees ($13.5 billion) over the next five years to boost its refining, petrochemicals and LNG import capacity. The state-owned refiner said the planned investment program would increase its present refining capacity of 1.4 million barrels per day (across nine plants) to 1.76 million b/d by the fiscal year ending Mar. 31, 2025.
