Woodside, Trafigura Tout Carbon-Light Condensate

Woodside Petroleum has delivered its first cargo of “carbon offset condensate” to trading firm Trafigura — part of a nascent trend of producers seeking to boost the environmental credentials of fossil fuels from LNG to crude oil. Woodside and Trafigura said the 650,000 barrel cargo of condensate — a mix of light liquid hydrocarbons — came from the Woodside-operated Pluto LNG plant in Western Australia.
