Output at eight-month high

Opec crude production jumped to an eight-month high in December amid a recovery in Libyan supply. Opec output climbed to 25.23mn b/d, the third consecutive monthly increase, thanks mainly to Libyan supply rising to its highest in over seven years. Libyan output has climbed by over 1mn b/d since August following a mid-September deal between warring factions to lift port and feld blockades.
