Eight new M&A transactions were announced during the week ended 12 July, down from 12 during the week prior in the second consecutive week of very strong activity. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, volumes and values are tracking well ahead of 2020 levels, with a number of very large transactions announced in recent weeks.
