New longs producer enters Thailand’s ma rket

In Q1 2021 the newcomer Yongxing Steel (Thailand), a subsidiary of China’s Fujian Qun Feng Investment, entered the Thai longs market, Metal Expert learnt from CISDI’s statement. According to the source, in February a high-speed rebar and wire rod mills were hot commissioned at the greenfield plant in Si Maha Phot district, Prachinburi province. The rebar mill is designed to produce 1.4 million tpy of 6?22 mm rebar, while the wire rod mill is designed to roll 600,000 tpy of 5.5?16 mm wire rod.
