SKODA ENYAQ iV EV REVEALED

Skoda has taken the wraps off its second all-electric model in its history, badged Enyaq iV. The SUV will be available to order from late this year, before arriving in dealerships at the start of 2021. Two battery sizes will be on offer, with the entry-level version costing from ￡33,450 before the Plug-in Car Grant (PiCG) is deducted. Sitting on the same modular MEB all-electric platform as the Volkswagen ID.3 and forthcoming ID.4, the Enyaq iV is 4,648mm long. That means it's shorter than the seven-seat Kodiaq, but its 2,765mm wheelbase is just 26mm off the bigger car. In other words, clever packaging of the battery pack and electric motors has resulted in roominess that's similar to SUV's from the next class up. It has a flat floor, with no transmission tunnel, and a spacious 585-litre boot.
