摘要

The Recent Graduate Working Group (RGWG)'s beginner's guide to employment law is outlined by Lydia Langley DVM BA, RGWG memberYou've graduated as a vet, compiled an impressive CV, gone for countless interviews, and may have even found what appears to be your dream job, now what? Employment law is unlikely to appear on the syllabus in most vet schools, and even if it did, wouldmany veterinary students actually pay attention, in the midst of the more interesting clinical subjects? Possibly not, however, the fact remains that after graduation, a knowledge of employment law is absolutely essential, as it is an area which can often be confusing for both employee and employer. With this in mind, the RGWG presents its ABC beginner's guide to employment law.
