2020 Harvest is in the Books

Growers were wishing for drier harvest conditions this year after relentless rain and snow caused about 30% of the fresh crop to be left in the ground in 2019. This fall those wishes came true, but good harvest conditions gradually deteriorated as the harvest season progressed. The North Dakota Ag Weather Network (NDAWN) station located at the NPPGA Research Farm just south of Grand Forks recorded only 0.36 inches of rain the entire month of September, and most of that fell on September 2nd.
