Volkswagen Trucks & Buses wins another major school bus chassis order

Brazil - Volkswagen Caminhoes e Onibus, a division of MAN Latin America, based in Resende, Rio de Janeiro has just won a tender for the delivery of 3,400 school buses in Brazil as part of the countries Federal school bus programme, Caminho da Escola. The scheme allows prefectures and states throughout Brazil to purchase vehicles by April 2019; completion of this order will increase the Group's total supply of school vehicles from 16,000 currently to almost 20,000 units.
