Axalta launches new tin-free cathodic electrocoat

Axalta has added a new environmentally-responsible,tin-free cathodic electrocoat primer to its Industrial Coatings portfolio.AquaECTM 3500 EP has been specially formulated for its customers in the automotive parts and accessories,agriculture,construction and earthmoving equipment(ACE)and general industry sectors as well as industrial job coaters.The new electrocoat primer has a low curing temperature of 150°C and a robust window of application,as well as good substrate adhesion,and excellent chemical and corrosion resistance.It is also part of a modular mixing concept that makes it a cost-effective solution.
