摘要

The isotope Kr-83(m), a 1.8-h isomer of stable Kr-83, has become a standard for the calibration of tritium beta decay experiments to determine neutrino mass. It is also widely used as a low-energy electron source for the calibration of dark-matter experiments. The nominally monoenergetic internal conversion lines are accompanied by shakeup and shakeoff satellites that modify the line shape. We draw on theoretical and experimental information to derive a quantitative description of the satellite spectrum of the K-conversion line.
