Rosneft lifeline keeps PdV afloat

Russian state-controlled oil company Rosneft has transferred around $6bn in loans and advance payments for oil supplies to Venezuelan counterpart stateowned PdV. "We expect final repayment in the form of crude and products deliveries by the end of 2019. No [new] prepayments are planned," Rosneft first vice-president Pavel Fyodorov says.
