To study the effect of nitrogen and spacing on nutrient content of tuberose, an experiment was conducted at experimental orchard of Department of Horticulture, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar during 2012-13. In this study, field experimentcomprising 15 treatment combinations was laid out as factorial randomized block design with three replications in 45 plots of size 1.2 x 1.2 m. Five levels of nitrogen i. e. N0(0 g/m2), N, (10 g/m2), N2( 15 g/m~2), N_3 (20 g/m~2) and N_4 (25 g/m~2) withthree spacings viz., S, (20 * 20 cm), S2 (20 x 30 cm) and S3 (20 x 40 cm) were applied. Results showed that the nitrogen and phosphorus content of tuberose plant increased slightly with gradual increase in nitrogen dose up to N_4 (25 g/ m2) over controli. e. N_0(O g/m~2). However, potassium content of plant decreased significantly with increasing levels of nitrogen. Wider spacing of S_3 (20 x 40 cm) significantly increased the nitrogen content of plant, while no significant increase in phosphorus content of plant was recorded with different levels of spacing. Potassium content of plant increased significantly with the increasing levels of spacing except at S2 (20 x 30 cm) level of spacing, which was at par with S3 (20 x 40 cm) level of spacing.
