摘要

LAST SEMESTER, MANY OF US EXPERIENCED an abrupt move to online learning from the traditional face-to-face learning model. Trying to rapidly master the online education environment, both students and teachers have overcome countless challenges with immense difficulties. As student instructors last semester, we gained experience navigating the online learning environment and received valuable feedback from our students. So, what is the students' perspective on their recent online learning experience, and how can we prepare for this current semester and future periods of online learning? We collected feedback from undergraduate and graduate STEM students in the United States and Australia and present a few of their major concerns. In response to this feedback, we share a few strategies that worked well for us as student instructors in various courses. In doing so, we hope to provide some useful suggestions for instructors to help them experience and create an easier and less stressful semester.
