摘要

In this manuscript, we discuss a new lifetime model, which is called sine power Lomax (SPL) model. The SPL model is more flexible than some well-known models and it has many applications in physics and medicine. We calculated some statistical properties as; quantile function, moments, moment generating function (mgf) and order statistics for the SPL distribution. The distribution parameters were estimated using maximum likelihood (ML) method for estimation. The SPL model has many applications in biomedical and physical sciences and we illustrate that in the application section. We used bladder cancer dataset related to medicine to show the flexibility of the new model. At the end of the article, the numerical results are investigated to evaluate the flexibility of the estimates.
