Searching for those elusive native terrestrial orchids

Margaret has been a member of the Sutherland Group of the Australian Plant Society NSW for many years and has had a life-long interest in native orchids.Orchids are the largest plant group on earth with the number of identified species worldwide being over 30,000. Of these about 1700 species are found in Australia and approximately 80% of these are terrestrial orchids (that is they grow in the ground).
