摘要

hhhh Global LNG loadings slowed in February compared with a year and a month earlier, as curtailed production from the US Gulf coast and slow production from some Asia-Pacifc liquefaction facilities weighed on exports. Worldwide LNG exports fell to 29.8mn t last month from 31.3mn t a year earlier, data from oil analytics frm Vortexa show, as a 17.5mn t/yr rise in global liquefaction capacity over the period was partly ofset by continued production issues at some facilities in Europe and the Asia-Pacifc basin. Norway’s 4.2mn t/yr Hammerfest facility has been of line since September, and some Australian units continued to face production issues, with the frst train at Chevron’s 15.6mn t/yr Gorgon plant of line since early December and the 8.9mn t/yr Wheatstone terminal running below capacity since December. Gorgon’s frst train is expected to return to operations this month, but then the third train is planned to be shut. Angola, Trinidad and Tobago, Nigeria, Malaysia, the UAE, Cameroon and Equato- rial Guinea also showed a double-digit drop in LNG exports.
