摘要

The use of exogenous NSP enzymes in poultry diets has become commonplace during recent years. A variety of enzyme products are available to the feed industry ranging from mono-component single enzymes, to cocktails of more than one activity, to thoselabeled as 'complex' enzymes claiming, in addition to the main activity/activities, several non-targeted activities within one product. Among others, one of the basic criterions for an effective feed enzyme is its ability to withstand the heat exposure during the normal process of steam pelleting. It is important because the exposure to the moist heat could potentially deactivate enzyme protein resulting in loss of catalytic activity.
