Nigeria wants revised NLNG plans as Total 'happy to progress'

The government and the foreign partners in the Nigeria LNG project are negotiating over the addition of two extra trains although upstream watchdog NAPIMS wants to focus on domestic supply. Shell, Total and Eni have delayed a final investment decision on Trains 7 and 8 at the plant on Bonny Island for nearly a decade but have resurrected their plans with the Nigerian government keen to use gas reserves.
