US toxics agency releases draft profile of ethylene oxide

The US Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) has released a draft toxicological profile of ethylene oxide (EtO) for public comment, an update to a decades old profile that introduces new minimal risk levels (MRLs) for EtO inhalation. The draft comes after EPA finalised EtO emission standards for vents, storage tanks and other industrial equipment earlier this year.
