An Al matrix composite reinforced with high-entropy alloy (HEA) particles was successfully fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM). The composite fabricated with optimized parameters exhibits a high strength (901 +/- 13 MPa) due to the presence of HEA phases and high dislocation density. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V.
