South Sudan sets tight schedule to boost oil output

South Sudanese leaders have set themselves a challenging timetable to boost oil production within months and complete construction of the country's three oil refineries despite ongoing conflict in the wartorn East African nation. Last month the country's minister of petroleum, Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, promised to begin raising oil output by November and start supplying neighboring Ethiopia with gasoline and diesel.
