KrisEnergy’s oil, gas output jumps 68%

Singapore—Southeast Asian upstream company KrisEnergy Ltd. said Thursday its oil and gas production rose 68.4% year on year to 14,895 boe/d in the July- September quarter, but output was down 10.3% from 16,611 boe/d in the previous quarter due to lower volumes at the Wassana oil field in the Gulf of Thailand. The year-on-year growth in output helped the company to more than triple its third quarter revenue to $44.4 million, from $12.7 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement. Revenue in Q3 was supported by an 8.2% rise in the average realized price of the company’s crude oil and liquid sales to $35.61/b, from $32.90/b in Q2. However, it was lower than $48.48/b in Q3 2015.
