Seoul seeks to weed out fake oil sellers

Seoul—More than 3,000 retail pump station owners in South Korea will go on strike on Thursday to protest a new requirement to submit weekly sales reports as part of a government crackdown on fake oil sales. A total of 3,023 or 24% of South Korea’s pump stations will take part in the one-day protest, according to the Korea Oil Stations Association, which represents stations run by individuals.
