QCLNG on track for first output before year-end: BG

Sydney-BG Group’s Queensland Curtis LNG project in the Australian east coast city of Gladstone remains on schedule to produce its first output before the end of 2014, a company spokesman said Wednesday. QCLNG will be the world’s first coalseam gas-to-LNG plant to start producing. The project is one of three currently under construction on Curtis Island.
