uAE's Taqa returns to profit as UK output soars

London-The UAE's Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, or Taqa, said Wednesday it returned to profit during the third quarter, helped by record levels of production from the UK North Sea. UK production increased to 57,800 b/d of oil equivalent in the third quarter, up 39% from the same period last year, after the Cor- morant Alpha field overcame technical hitches to return to production, Taqa said.
