Brazil OGPar oil output falls 1.7% in July

Rio de Janeiro—Brazilian independent producer Oleo e Gas Participacoes, or OGPar, continued to register a steady decline in production at its two offshore fields, with output falling 1.7% month-on-month in July, the company said Friday. OGPar, formerly known as OGX, produced 13,206 b/d from the Tubarao Martelo and Tubarao Azul fields, the company said in a statement. That was down from 13,428 b/d in June. In gross volume terms, OGPar said output was 409,382 barrels in July compared with 402,844 in June.
