BP to explore Egyptian onshore gas with Dana

Dubai-Dana Gas is to offer BP stakes of up to 50% in parts of its onshore Nile Delta exploration concessions in return for BP car- rying Dana’s share of the costs of drilling high-profile Egyptian exploration wells, the two companies said Tuesday. The deal allows the UAE’s Dana, as a relatively small regional oil and gas producer, to participate in the drilling of a promising onshore gas prospect while conserving cash.
