Pemex, Sempra Weigh Mexican LNG Export Terminal

Mexico's state-owned Pemex has signed a deal with two affiliates of US-based Sempra Energy to evaluate the construction of an LNG export terminal on Mexico's Pacific coast. Pemex and Sempra affiliates IEnova and Sempra LNG said they have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities for cooperating on the project, which would be located near Ensenada in the state of Baja California.
