Cobalt Explores Offshore Angola

Cobalt International Energy said it expects to embark on a two-well pre-salt deepwater exploration program on Block 21 offshore Angola in July. The Houston-based independent said the Ocean Confidence drilling rig, which is currently assigned to an Angolan affiliate of Total, will be returned to Cobalt by Jul. 21.
