Chevron Starts Thai Gas Output

Chevron said it has started natural gasproduction from the $3.1 billion Platong IIproject in the Gulf of Thailand, where it ex-pects to ramp up production to 330 MMcf/d.The project will increase domestic produc-tion in Thailand by more than 10% andboost Chevron’s net natural gas productionfrom the Gulf of Thailand by more than 20%.The company said it also expects the projectto produce 18,000 b/d of natural gas liquids.
