摘要

Australia's Tap Oil and its partners have committed to a second phase of exploratio in Brunei's onshore Block M. The program starts this August, Tap partner Kulczyk Oil said. The joint venture's minimum work obligations under its production-sharing agreement are to acquire at least 80 km of onshore 2-D seismic and 500 km of off- shore 2-D seismic, and to drill at least thre onshore exploration wells. The second- phase seismic obligation was converted int a 136 sq km 3-D program that was com- pleted in December. One well remains to b drilled under the remaining first-phase work commitment. To date, Tap has ac- quired 254 sq km of 3-D seismic and com- pleted the Mawar-1 and Markisa-1 wells (IOD Sep.28,p2).
