Fields offshore northwestern Australia were coming back on line after being shut in last week ahead of the passage of tropical cyclone Bianca (IOD Jan.28,p7). US-based Apache said it had resumed output from its 4,500 b/d Stag oil field and that the BHP Billiton-operated 96,000 b/d Pyrenees floating production, storage and offloading (FP- SO) vessel was also back up. Operations re- sumed late last week on Barrow and Thevenard Islands, and were back in full swing, a Chevron spokesman said. Woodside said output will re- sume when weather permits at its Cossack Pio- neer FPSO, which now produces about 36,000 b/d, and its 31,000 b/d Enfield field. The Muti- neer Exeter FPSO, which had been producing about 4,200 b/d, was reportedly undergoing maintenance for two weeks after being moved off site to avoid the cyclone last week.
